This place absolutely hits the spot! I mean don’t get me wrong, it is no fancy service, and they give you water pitchers to drink water with paper coffee cups, but in all honesty it is all part of its charm. It is a little hole (somewhat hidden) in Chinatown, packed with delicious food. You can truly taste the quality of the hand pulled noodles, and the prices are reasonable (especially for the serving sizes) 10/10

Delicious and cheap original Chinese food. Soups, noddles, dumplings and more We spend less than $100 four persons. Several choices Highly recommend.

The pan fried noodles is were it is at! Wonderful flavor and you can taste the quality. We also got the shredded pork soup, thats was not super good which was a huge shame. The noodles were excellent but the broth tasted like cambels chicken noodle soup, not a bone broth. The pork was not shredded but rater just cut into smaller pieces. The soup just lacked flavor and uniqueness. I added like 5 spoonfuls if chili paste/oil to make it somewhat bearable for $14 Raman is was not worth it. The dumpling looked good. Plenty of outside seating not much inside. Cash is preferred but they accept card. I saw them making the noodles behind the cash register that was cool. Really cool area as well

Damn delicious. This no-frills gem is everything you want in a Chinatown noodle spot. We grabbed a table outside—perfect for a bar crawl intermission—and were blown away. The shrimp dumplings? Insane. I should’ve ordered double. Fresh, flavorful, perfectly pan-fried. We split the beef pan-fried noodles (extra wide) for our main, and the sauce was incredible—rich, savory, with generous overflow. Every bite hit. Paired with a crisp Chinese beer and the total was under $40. It’s an institution for a reason, and now I get it. I’ll definitely be back.

Have been coming here for years when we hit the Big Apple. Absolute must do if you’re in New York. Amazing food, great customer service, and atmosphere can’t be beat. Pan Fried Shrimp pictured. We always at we will try other places in Chinatown, THPN is just to good to miss!!

Cash only. I recommend the house special hand-pulled noodle soup ($16). The broth, clear and light, does not have the richness of, say, ramen but is no less satisfying. It’s the vehicle for the noodles and all the toppings (beef, chicken, shrimp and egg). The menu needs to be updated though as this was priced $14 on the menu. Weather permitting, it’s best to get one of the outdoor tables as the inside is worn and tired.

Enjoyed a delicious meal here after walking the Brooklyn Bridge and exploring. We had the pan fried noodles with chicken & shrimp and the pork soup dumplings. Everything was superb. Fast and efficient service. Clean restaurant. This place is cash only but we were prepared for that.

Exactly what I was looking for! Knife cut veggie stir fry noodles were fantastically chewy and came with a great amount of vegetables. Large portion size for the price. This place certainly lives up to its name! Service was quick and no frills. They do accept credit card despite the cash only sign.
